Peanut Butter Vegan Brownie Cake


This is a very simple and delicious vegan brownie that you can use as a base for many delicious deserts.

Made of six ingredients (of organic quality), this is a very easy, affordable yet hard to resist cake :-))

1cup of apple souce (best home made from two - tree apples),

1/3 cup of raw cocoa,

1/2 cup of unsweetened peanut butter (I used home-made),

1/2 tea spoon of vanilla,

1 tea spoon of baking powder 2-4 spoons of mapple (or other) syrup depending on a desired sweetness.

Instructions: Although I have tried different ways, it is best to mix all powder ingredients first, add peanut butter and maple syrup spread the mixture on a non-stick pan (best over a greesed baking paper).

Place into the oven on 180°C for 18-25min to obtain a thin brownie which I recommend eating with a combination of home-made ripe banana vegan ice-cream and a raspberry sorbet, decorated with a mint leaf.

Alternatively, you can double the ingredients and add parts of the peanut butter and dark chocolate chips into the mixture to get a base for a birthday cake.
