I was testing the beta version of the new Mac OS over the summer. Adobe CS3 did not work at all. I could not even open photoshop or illustrator. Thankfully I backed up my mac before installing the beta because I was able to reinstall from Time Machine and CS3 worked normally again.

The only thing that was being a little annoying was that it would not open jpg files or format the folders it was downloading the files into. This was annoying because I had to manually open every single jpg file and had to change the permissions for each one. It never gave me an error or anything.

I did not know about CS3, but I thought CS4 was supposed to be worse than CS3. However, after the beta, it was even worse with the CS3 features removed. I could not even open a InDesign file. I had to uninstall inDesign and re-install, but CS3 is back again. With the new CC version I was able to install again.

If you are a mac user and have asked yourself why CS3 is so bad, the answer is simple. Adobe just does not care about their users. I was able to re-install CS3 and it still has the same problems. Since CS3 can not be replaced, I reinstalled and the new version is working fine d2c66b5586
