You can run FSX/FSX Steam on a 32 bit Windows XP PC, 32 bit Windows Vista/7, Windows 8 (Not officially supported), or build your own 64 bit version. 16x features some things that 32 bit doesn't, for example the GLIDE feature.

If you have the new FSX 'Experimental' add-on loaded on one of the sims there is a new white strip across the middle of your cockpit that may increase the cockpit size thus giving you a bigger screen or may horizontally compress the cockpit (more simulation and less cockpit size). This strip can be toggled off and on in the SimConnect settings.

Download the XCopy XNSPY Profile file to apply to your FSX 'Experimental' Addon and 'Factory' FSX files. After installing FSX be sure to delete the XCopyXNSPY folder and replace it with a new install if you have already installed FSX

The only required files are the FSX 'Factory' and your profile that you installed through XCopyXNSPY. You are no longer required to use XCopyXNSPY to install this plugin or the other required files!

For users on 32 bit systems Windows 7 or later, the easy way to install FSX under Windows 7 or later is to install the featureset (ANY PC) DVD and then select "Other Features" to "Install the plugin for the game". A dialog box will say it is "Ready" to launch the game installer. Click on "next" and begin installing. d2c66b5586
